Colors by Color Family
The 13 ORCN Color Families: twelve hue families plus Greyscale. This is the register's own classification — every named color belongs to exactly one of them. Each list holds every registered tint, tone and shade of that family.
Thirteen is the whole list, not a selection — the families divide all 16,777,216 RGB colors without gaps or overlaps, so a fourteenth cannot be added. Everyday names such as Ocean, Turquoise or Purple are not families; they live in Lists of Colors by Names. How the two differ.
